We had a family hand signal, which the person in the front would use if someone was approaching on the trail and we needed to put on our masks. Once, when another child got too close to my then-4-year-old son on a bridge, he yelled at her “SOCIAL DISTANCING!”

CDC director tests positive for COVID-19 again after completing round of Paxlovid
Walensky tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month, going into isolation and taking “appropriate action” for her health.
On Monday, the CDC said Walensky had experienced “mild symptoms” during her infection and eventually tested negative for the virus after completing a round of Paxlovid.

Twenty scientists at the Imperial College in London infected hamsters with mutant viruses including strains of the original coronavirus and parts of Omicron or Delta, according to the Daily Mail.

Orange County declares health emergency due to viruses
A health emergency has been declared in Southern California’s Orange County due to rapidly spreading virus infections.
The county health officer issued the declaration Monday due to record numbers of pediatric hospitalizations and daily emergency room visits, the OC Health Care Agency said in a press release.
