California releases thousands of pedophiles less than year after their convictions, data shows

Thousands of convicted pedophiles in California have been released from prison after only spending less than a year in prison, a recent analysis found. 

"Statistics clearly show that pedophiles don't get reformed. They're going to come out and they're going to commit again," former Los Angeles sex crimes prosecutor Samuel Dordulian told the Daily Mail. 

Using California's Megan's Law website, the Daily Mail found that there were more than 7,000 sex offenders convicted of "lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age," but released from prison in under a year of being convicted. 

"Letting these people out early, we're allowing for a lot more victimization. And that's terrifying," Dordulian added.

An anti-vaxxer nurse who injected up to 8,600 elderly people with saline solution instead of a Covid-19 vaccine has walked free from court.

Antje T in turn was initially charged with 15 counts of intentional assault at the beginning of the trial in November 2022, but nine of them were dropped due to no evidence.

Wisconsin parents sue school district for transitioning their daughter without their permission

The parents of a Wisconsin girl whose middle school allowed her to adopt a male name and pronouns without their knowledge or permission are taking legal action against the school district whom they accuse of violating their parental rights.

After being removed from the affirming environment, the girl has since desisted and no longer believes herself to be a member of the opposite sex.

Indoor mask mandate may return if LA County reaches high COVID transmission, Ferrer says

According to Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer, if the county reaches the CDC's high transmission and hospitalization categories, masking may be required indoors – again.

According to the LA County Public Health's new COVID-19 numbers from Wednesday, December 1, the county reports 4,493 new cases, 1,164 new hospitalizations and 14 new deaths.
