The Unity Project Goes On-Air With KHTS’ Carl Goldman To Discuss Vaccine Injuries, Including His Own
By KHTS’ Carl Goldman
This week, a live on-air discussion on the dangers of vaccine mandates was held between KHTS co-owner Carl Goldman and the Unity Project.
The Unity Project CEO Laura Sextro spoke on-air with Goldman co-owner of KHTS, discussing COVID-19 vaccines and their own opinions on vaccine mandates.
“The Unity Project started about eight months ago now,” Sextro said. “we were faced with this option of ‘what do you do in terms of your children?’”
Teens Choose Vaccines Act
Sextro works as the CEO of The Unity Project, a group said to be made up of concerned citizens who question vaccine mandates for K-12 children.
“In a school, if your child has a headache, you have to give parent consent and authorization to administer an over-the-counter drug like Tylenol or Advil,” Sextro said. “Yet the state of California is looking to give these children the ability to make and engage in medical decisions that could alter their life irreparably or, potentially, end their life as we’ve seen in some sad cases.”
With COVID-19 vaccines causing rifts between parents and children since vaccines first became available in 2021, Senate Bill 866 endorses a teen’s right to choose, regardless of parental consent or knowledge – a bill working its way through the California State Assembly.
“Ordinarily in medicine, children cannot consent to medical procedures whether it is prescription medication, or an intervention like a surgery, until they are 18, an age where they can give consent,” said Dr. Aaron Kheriaty with The Unity Project. “Without a good understanding of our risks from COVID, we cannot give informed consent, but also without a good understanding of the actual benefits of the vaccine, we also cannot give informed consent, so we’re proposing in this current climate that there is inaccurate information on both of these things.”
Because of the lack of public information about the vaccine, Kheriaty argues that no member of the public can give informed consent, let alone a child between the age of 12 to 18.
“You take a child at school who’s induced and incentivized, and maybe even be pressured socially, to be apart of the ‘in-group’ who all have their stickers for being vaccinated, gotten their good behavior report for being vaccinated, and that child is not going to be in a position to withstand pressures from their peers and teachers,” Khierty said. “It’s truly an attempt to run around parental rights and to further the interests of pharmaceutical companies.”
Vaccination Effectivity
The widespread push to have people vaccinated, according to The Unity Project officials, only makes sense when “you follow the money,” which they attribute to pharmaceuticals and government officials.
“If Newsom was confident in the vaccine’s capacity, he would not have taken an antiviral (when he had COVID-19),” said Dr. Paul Alexander with The Unity Project. “Because his doctor put him on an antiviral, it means he is not confident in the vaccine’s ability to reduce symptoms… and because of the vaccine, we are going to see children die.”
With “possibly ineffective” COVID-19 vaccinations highly urged in classrooms and workplaces across the country since the height of the pandemic, many are concerned about the potential side effects from the newly developed vaccines.
“We can go into all the problems about vaccine injuries – the fact that it’s not recognized, the fact that there’s no vaccine injury clinics, that fact there’s no trials – I don’t think it’s too much to say that they’re abandoned from the system, and there are a lot of them out there,” said Dr. Pierre Corey with The Unity Project.
Goldman attests to these concerns in the interview by sharing a story about his own negative experiences that he attributes to a vaccination he received in 2019, just before catching COVID-19.
A Testimony
“In 2019, I took… the newer version of the shingles vaccine, Shingrix, which is a type of mRNA, which is the same technology that COVID is using, at least for Pfizer and for Moderna,” Goldman said. “And about two weeks later, I started having a reaction to it…My feet fell asleep on a plane and they never woke up.”
Goldman attests to these concerns in the interview by sharing a story about his own negative experiences that he attributes to a vaccination he received in 2019, just before catching COVID-19.
“On March 24, 2021, the FDA finally came out with a warning on the shingles vaccine, because it creates a chance of getting Guillain-Barré (Syndrome), similar to what I had,” Goldman said.
Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a “neurological disorder in which the body’s immune system damages nerve cells, causing muscle weakness, or in the most severe cases, paralysis,” according to the Food and Drug Administration.
Sextro and Goldman concurred with one another on their concerns about the potential future use of vaccines in the state of California without the consent of parents.
The Unity Project is made up of “engaged citizens” seeking to prevent the use of a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for K-12 students, according to their website.
“We recognized the urgent need to unite statewide into a powerful force of concerned citizens that is well-resourced, well-coordinated with streamlined communication and propelled by strong execution across the state,” the Project’s website reads. “Our humble intention is to also serve as a catalyst that significantly amplifies the best strategies being driven by the most experienced and effective groups in the space.”
