Emotional Terrorism on the Most Vulnerable

CA elementary school bribes children with Santa, free food and $1000s in presents for getting the vaccine

El Capitan Elementary School in Dehli, California hosted a Holiday Festival Vaccine Clinic on Thursday promising “free food, pictures with Santa and $1,000 worth of free toys for kids who receive the COVID-19 vaccine.” The festive flyer promoted by the school throughout the community stated, “Free Pfizer vaccines available to all people 5 years or older.”

Beyond the blatant coercion and ethical violations, this vaccine clinic is being pushed on one of the most vulnerable communities in the state. According to U.S. News and World Report, El Capitan Elementary School’s minority student enrollment is 92%, and enrolls 95% economically disadvantaged students. To promise expensive gifts and food during a time of record inflation combined with the monetary stresses of the Holiday Season, is emotional terrorism on a population that is already struggling.

Yesterday, The Unity Project brought together education, medical, and legal experts to expose and assess this egregious situation happening in Merced County. Along with Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of the mRNA vaccine technology, and Revive Academies Founder Sam Gallucci, Unity Project CEO Laura Sextro hosted an Instagram Live to addresses the concerns and ramifications of schools targeting these vulnerable populations and publicly urge the school principal Gena Buchanan to cancel the event.

Dr. Malone warned the principal,

“As a senior official at the school reporting to the school board, you are in a position where you have breached fundamental medical ethics and you are placing the school board at significant legal risk. You are administering an unlicensed medical product with a significant risk profile, which is only available under emergency use authorization, to try and protect children from a non-lethal virus that presents very little harm.”

“While a school can legally host a vaccine clinic, it has typically been for FDA approved products. The question becomes, does a clinic have the legal authority to test EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) products on individuals?

The legal risk comes with the gifting of items in exchange for a vaccine. These shots are widely and freely available for anyone who would like to take one from the local CVS, Walgreens, family doctor, etc. So, hosting this event is not about convenience. When you are incentivizing individuals, you are overriding their informed consent and freewill.”

We called the school today to ask about the Holiday Festival Vaccine Clinic and a staff member could not provide the number of children who got vaccinated but said it was “a good turn out and at around 4:40pm there was still a line” to get the shot. She went on to say they don’t know if there will be anymore clinics this year, but they are planning for another one next year.

This is a nefarious attack on a vulnerable community and through coercion and peer pressure, El Capitan Elementary School is inserting the school into the family’s medical decisions and parental rights. This is intimidation towards the parents who believe that if they don’t comply, the school will bully or retaliate against their children.

This story is about one school and one vaccine clinic, but these events are happening all over the country.  These schools are Emotional Terrorists preying on disadvantaged communities and they need to be called out.
