IDAHO - SB 1005 PASSED & SIGNED TO LAW
Parents must be provided with a copy of Idaho's policy allowing an opt out of immunization policies for day care.
KENTUCKY - SB 150 PASSED
School district must notify parents of health and mental health services offered or those their minor children seek out, through the school.
TENNESSEE - SB 1 PASSED & SIGNED TO LAW EFFECTIVE 7/1/23
Prohibit minors from undergoing irreversible and harmful medical procedures to change their gender identity.
TENNESSEE - SB 11 PASSED & SIGNED TO LAW
Ensure that state and local governments cannot require COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
GEORGIA - SB 140 PASSED & SIGNED TO LAW ACT 4
Prohibits certain surgical procedures for the treatment of gender dysphoria in minors from being performed in hospitals and other licensed healthcare facilities.
UTAH - SB 93 PASSED & SIGNED TO LAW
Limits how and when a birth certificate may be changed and prohibits updates to birth certificates for minors.
MISSOURI - SB 49 PASSED SENATE
Establishes the "Missouri (SAFE) Act" where no physician or health care provider shall provide gender transition procedures to any minor.
LOSSES
KENTUCKY - HB 173 WITHDRAWN
Require teachers to tell parents if their child asks to use different pronouns or a name.
NEW HAMPSHIRE - HB 619 RETAINED IN COMMITTEE
Prohibits gender transition care for minors under 18 years of age, prohibits teaching about gender identity in public schools and changes the definition of conversion therapy.
NEW HAMPSHIRE - HB 396 RETAINED IN COMMITTEE
Nothing in state law can undermine the state's rational interest in differentiating between male and female.
AMENDMENTS
CALIFORNIA - AB 659 AMENDED
Original: Adds HPV vaccine to the list of required immunizations for children to attend school.
CA SB 659 has been amended to remove the mandate for 8th - 12th grade.
The amendment still mandates CA State University & Community College first time students under 26 years of age to be fully vaccinated against HPV.
The March 28th hearing has been postposed.

HB 81 - The "Given Name Act" would require school employees to use certain names and pronouns for students unless parents have provided written permission to do otherwise.

HB 283 - Maryland Medical Assistance Program to provide gender-affirming treatment in a nondiscriminatory manner (Carryover of previous SB 682 - 2022).

SB 390 - Removes option for parents to file a simple religious exemption for vaccinations with their school district. New process involved standardized, public form issued by Health Dept and require doctor’s signature.
